Aqua Doc helps grant wishes
Aqua Doc Pool Service partners with La Petite Academy to help grant wishes
(Glendale, AZ) – October 30, 2009 – Local pool and spa service company supports local efforts to raise donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Since pools and children are synonymous, it was fitting for Aqua Doc Pool Service to partner with La Petite Academy and help raise funds for a charity that helps millions of children realize their dreams.
Each of the La Petite Academy locations nationwide hosts a Fall Festival fundraising event to benefit the Foundation. Children, parents, teachers and staff all participate to help raise money for this very worthwhile organization. During local fundraising events Aqua Doc sponsored Pizza night at Glendale’s location selling pizza to parents, all proceeds were donated as part of La Petite’s efforts. Aqua Doc donated more than 7 pizzas and made a cash donation.
“We are proud to support our local community and couldn’t think of a better cause than Make-A-Wish” said Chris Wilson, owner of Aqua Doc Pool Service.
In April of 2003, La Petite Academy part of the Learning Care Group, aligned with another organization who loves children as much as they do – The Make-A-Wish Foundation (www.wish.org). Since that time, they have contributed over $5.6 million to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Through the efforts of La Petite Academy students, families, and staff, they have helped to grant the wishes of over 770 courageous children across the country.
Learning Care Group is a Cause Champion with Make-A-Wish. Between October 19 and November 20, 2009, the Learning Care Group hopes to raise more than $1 million to help make wishes come true.
